New TV shows premiering on Sky and NOW in December
Smothered | 7 December
In this very different take on a rom-com, Danielle Vitalis and Jon Pointing star as Sammy and Tom, who meet, sing karaoke together and enjoy a one-time fling, except things soon become serious between them.
The only snag is there's another woman in Tom's life, his six-year-old daughter Ellie. And this will challenge his and Sammy's budding relationship, but will it be over before it can properly begin?
Dynamo is Dead | 14 December
Magician Dynamo is taking on his most difficult challenge yet by attempting to bury himself alive, and he will prepare for this journey with the help of celebrity guests like Kate Beckinsale, Pete Davidson, Tony Hawk and Kesha before attempting the stunt live on Sky and NOW.
Rob and Romesh vs Lapland | 17 December
In another festive special, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan team up for a fun trip to Lapland where they enter the domain of Santa Claus and try their hand at the work that elves and other festive creatures do in order to bring festive cheer over the holidays
A Very Brassic Christmas | 21 December
The Brassic crew are back and this time it's Christmas so they are set to enjoy a festive-themed event which sees Vinnie, Erin, Cardi, Carol Ashley and JJ be faced with the need to save the festive season with a heist in a winter wonderland and staging the best Nativity play ever performed.

Genie | 1 December
Richard Curtis returns to the the festive genre with Genie, a Sky Original film starring Melissa McCarthy and Paapa Essiedu that reimagines an old story written by the director.
The film sees the Love Actually writer weave a festive tale of a different kind, one that sees a workaholic dad face Christmas alone only to be given another chance to set things right with his family after discovering a jewellery box housing a magical genie.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie | 25 December
Chris Pratt plays Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, an animated adaptation of the classic Nintendo game, where the plucky Italian plumber is transported to another realm alongside his brother Luigi and must help Princess Peach defeat the power-hungry Bowser — who is looking for love in all the wrong ways.
May December | 8 December
Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman star in this gripping crime drama about an actor (Portman) who takes on the role of a criminal for a true crime film and decides to meet her subject (Moore) in order to better understand her, only to take things further than she ever expected.

Shazam: Fury of the Gods | 15 December
The DC universe may be about to hit the reset button but before it does fans can watch the Shazam sequel, Fury of the Gods, which sees Zachary Levi return as Billy Batson who, alongside his friends, must face the Daughters of Atlas as they wreak havoc on Earth.
