Woman Whose Strawberries Mysteriously Vanished Catches Culprit in Action

A woman whose strawberries were mysteriously vanishing caught the most adorable of culprits in action when she resorted to set up a camera outside her home in Watertown, Massachusetts.

Amber Bobnar told Storyful that she bought “a beautiful strawberry plant with pink flowers” from the store, but never got to enjoy the literal fruit of her labor. “Every time a strawberry started to ripen, it was gone before I could pick it!” she said.

Bobnar said she thought that maybe squirrels were to blame, “but I also kind of suspected my dog”.

She said she was looking to “catch the culprit in the act”, and did just that as she set up her camera, with footage showing her Labrador retriever Ipo giving the plant a good sniff before grabbing a delicious fruit.
