Scottish WWE star Drew McIntyre will be seeing red after his rival CM Punk went to extra lengths to annoy him - both inside and outside the ring.

The Ayrshire-born wrestler was enjoying a homecoming, thrilling Scottish fans with his brilliant social media posts, including his take on the iconic monologue from Trainspotting, captioning it, "Choose life. Choose wrestling. Choose Glasgow."

But Rivl CM Punk was in the mood to spoil his party, interfering in his headlining clash and affecting the final result – and not in Drew's favour.

And after diehard Rangers supporter celebrated being inducted into The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame for Scotland with the ceremony fittingly taking place in the famous walls of Ibrox Stadium.

Punk couldn't help but rub salt in Drew's wounds by heading straight to the Celtic store to grab something.

WWE Spoilers ahead....

Scot Drew had looked set to win the heavyweight title from Damien Priest but after the referee was taken out during the action, a new 'Ref' entered the ring.

And angering not only the crowd but also Drew, it was revealed to be Punk himself sporting the black and white.

And after Drew set about Punk, Priest got involved and it ended in the Scottish star losing, much to the dismay of the home crowd.

In the aftermath, Punk just couldn't help winding up his rival further by sporting a green Celtic training top.

It looks like Drew will be out for revenge in future.

Thankfully, it wasn't all bad for Scotland's star last night as duo Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn were crowned new Women's Tag Team Champions much to the delight of the Glasgow crowd.
