Chinese fireworks truck bursts into flames after crash - sending rockets soaring over highway

This is the spectacular moment a truck crash lit up the sky - after a vehicle carrying fireworks burst into flames.

The vehicle in China was caught on camera after a crash on a highway in Zhejiang Province.

The passenger and driver were able to escape the truck before the flames took hold.

Seconds later, almost 5kg of fireworks caught fire, sending multicoloured rockets soaring into the air above the crash.

Local media reports stated that the pair escaped with only minor injuries.

Firemen arrived at the scene and put out the blaze at 8am local time.
