This happy bride got more than she bargained for on her wedding day - when a big sloppy kiss from a cheeky ELEPHANT.

The Australian bride had just got married in Phuket, Thailand, when the huge animal wandered into her ceremony.

As she walked closer to the animal, video captures the three-year-old Indian elephant wrapping its trunk around her and pulling the newlywed towards its mouth.

She was then handed a huge dose of bad breath by the elephant, which quickly let her go to screams of laughter.

The bride, from Melbourne, had travelled to South-East Asia for her big day with the comical moment captured on camera by Abraham Joffe, one of Australia’s leading DSLR filmmakers.

Mr Joffe, who runs Untitled Film Works, said: 'She wasn't injured. It just licked her face and breathed down her throat.

'She just got this horrible elephant breath in her lungs. Everyone was laughing. She was a bit shaken up.

'She was a little bit embarrassed but they were all pretty laid back, being Aussies. It wasn't a prim and proper sort of day.'
