122-tonne abnormal load to cause delays on A47 and A11

Drivers have been warned to expect delays as a 122-tonne abnormal load hits Norfolk's roads.

The vehicle measures 75 feet in length and 12 feet in width and is being transported from Liverpool to Sizewell B power station in Suffolk.

The unit will be escorted by Norfolk Constabulary from the A14 at the Cambridgeshire border, along the A11, A47, A146, A143, A146, A1145, A12, B1122 and Lover's Lane.

The convoy is made up of two units and will hit roads at 9am on Thursday.
