Among the many great things that summer brings to the North East is the variety of places that offer freshly grown fruit to pick.

There’s nothing better than visiting a 'pick your own' (P.Y.O) farm and filling up endless tubs of the finest produce grown right on your doorstep, especially when it comes to juicy sweet strawberries bursting with colour.

That’s why we have put together some of the best places to pick your own strawberries in the region according to their Google reviews  - each location has a minimum of 4.0.

It’s important to note you should contact the individual listings before you visit to find out the most up-to-date opening times of 2023 and produce availability.
