Flash Flooding Hits Perryton, Texas, Amid Intense Storm

Parts of panhandle Texas were inundated with flash flooding as a severe storm moved through the region on September 10.

Footage captured by Chad Casey shows widespread flooding with rapid current on the Main Street of downtown Perryton.

Casey also captured a large supercell just north of Perryton, with lightning flashing within the structure.

The National Weather Service forecasted the storm to move eastward overnight, with more flash flooding and strong gusts predicted. Credit: Chad Casey via Storyful
