Analysing the blingtastic style of Dee Devlin, Conor McGregor's glamorous girlfriend

There will be no shortage of bling at tonight’s Mayweather vs. McGregor showdown. Both men are renowned for their love of all things opulent, after all. Ringside though, Dee Devlin- girlfriend of Conor McGregor- will be bringing her personal brand of glamour to one of the most anticipated fights of all time. 

Devlin and McGregor have been together for eight years and since his rise to fame and fortune, McGregor has indulged his girlfriend’s taste-which almost, but not quite, rivals his own- for designer logos, It bags and diamonds. 

Her look borrows its cues from the high octane style beloved of WAGs and the Kardashians; ultra-groomed and high maintenance with tan, lashes and hair extensions all immaculately in place. In fact, if the tabloids are mourning the end of Coleen Rooney’s reign as WAG-in-chief this week after the announcement of Wayne’s retirement from international football, then they may find their new heroine in Devlin. 

Although Chanel handbags, Rolex watches and Balmain t-shirts are two-a-penny in Devlin’s collection, she still retains elements of a girl-next-door authenticity, pairing her glittering baby blue Rolex or Louis Vuitton luggage with more relaxed, everywoman pieces like leggings, skinny jeans and parkas. It’s a strategy which makes sense for a new Mum and keeps her look relatable. 

In May, Devlin gave birth to the couple’s son, Conor Jack, and they have proudly dressed him in mini versions of his Dad’s beloved pinstriped suits or designer babywear- think Versace vests and tiny Gucci trainers- ever since. 

At Dublin’s V.I.P magazines awards in 2016, Devlin won the Most Stylish Newcomer, choosing a cut-out Roberto Cavalli red chiffon gown to receive her accolade. The couple were also invited to J-Lo’s birthday party where Devlin posed alongside Lopez (who was wearing a sequinned bikini and printed robe, of course) in a gold halterneck top, white mini skirt and Tom Ford ‘Natalia’ bag. Body-con, glitzy and never knowingly under accessorised are her style signatures.

So, what can we expect to see Devlin wearing in Vegas tonight? If her previous fight night style is anything to go by, then a jewel-hued mini dress could be on the cards, perhaps by Versace who are creating McGregor’s robe for the event.

 By the end of the evening, she may have a new piece of bling to add to her collection though, as rumours suggest that- win or lose- McGregor will propose to Devlin after the fight. “It’ll be the biggest wedding Dublin has seen,” one friend has suggested. Just imagine the dress.
