Ariana Grande has delighted fans with the video for Breathin, illustrating her struggles with anxiety alongside the poignant lyrics.

The US singer, 25, finally dropped the video many fans have been waiting for on Wednesday with Breathin from latest album Sweetener.

In the three minute video, Grande is pictured in a black dress sitting deep in thought while other shots show her stuck in the clouds, swinging across the murky sky.

Grande also struggles to stay in one moment during crowded scenes in the video (below, contains strong language), instead having her “head in the clouds”, perhaps perfectly illustrating living with her anxiety.

During a BBC music special last month, Grande opened up about her mental health to presenter Davina McCall.

The star said: “You have ups and downs and sometimes you'll go weeks at a time where you will be crushing it and there will be no anxiety.

"Then something will happen that can trigger it and then you have a couple of down days.”

In June, Grande revealed she was left with post-traumatic stress disorder after the Manchester Arena bombing. 22 people, including children, were killed after a bomb blast in the foyer after her Dangerous Woman tour had ended.

She told British Vogue: “It's hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss. But, yeah, it's a real thing.

“I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well.

“Time is the biggest thing. I feel like I shouldn't even be talking about my own experience - like I shouldn't even say anything.

“I don't think I'll ever know how to talk about it and not cry.”
