Ariana Grande fan account deletes tweet that sparked story she will pay for victim's funerals

An unverified Twitter fan account claiming Ariana Grande would pay for the funerals of the victims of the Manchester attack has deleted the Tweet.

The post stated that the star had ‘reached out’ to the victim’s families and was liked 86,000 times and got 36,000 retweets.

However her actual verified fan account, with 137k followers, has not retweeted or endorsed any of the claims and Ariana herself has not commented since her initial tweet saying she was ‘broken’.

Yahoo Celeb UK has contacted Ariana’s rep for comment.

Ariana, 23, has flown back home to Florida and is being comforted by her family and boyfriend Mac Miller and has suspended the rest of her Dangerous Woman tour.

Her drummer Aaron Spears has also spoken out about the terror backstage and how Ariana’s mother escorted distraught fans at the Manchester Arena when the bomb went off.

Since Monday night, Arianators have gathered together online and the hashtag #ItIsNotYourFault has been trending while Ariana’s fellow celebrities and politicians have expressed their shock and sympathy over the attack.

Back in London, the Manchester suicide bomber has been named as Salman Abedi and Prime Minister Theresa May has raised threat warning to ‘critical’, the highest level.
