Arnold Schwarzenegger Jokes 'There's Enough Room' for Both His and Chris Pratt's Super Bowl Commercials (Exclusive)

"As a matter of fact, I wouldn't mind if every commercial is with one family member of mine," Arnold Schwarzenegger tells PEOPLE

Arnold Schwarzenegger thinks "there's enough room" for two Super Bowl LVIII commercials in his family.

Schwarzenegger, 76, and son-in-law Chris Pratt will both be featured during this year's game: Schwarzenegger is appearing in a State Farm insurance commercial, while Pratt will star in one for Pringles.

"I don't think there's any competition because they're going to play a lot of different commercials in the Super Bowl and I think there's enough room," the Terminator actor and former California governor says of going head-to-head with Pratt in the commercials department. "I'd rather have him do one than a stranger do another one."

"As a matter of fact, I wouldn't mind if every commercial is with one family member of mine," Schwarzenegger jokes. "My daughters, my sons, and my son-in-law and everybody should be in there doing a commercial. That would be great. So no, I don't see it as competition at all, no. Not even a friendly competition. No competition period. I wish everyone good luck with the whole thing."

Pratt, 44, stars in Pringles' 2024 Super Bowl commercial in a spot that features him sporting a handlebar mustache that matches the chip brand’s mascot, Mr. P. The spot features Pratt taking on a role in what appears to be a fictional movie about Pringles' origins.

Meanwhile, Schwarzenegger takes on a new role as Agent State Farm in the insurance company's recent advertising campaign. His latest spot takes a behind-the-scenes look at Agent State Farm, in which Schwarzenegger humorously struggles to say the company's "like a good neighbor, State Farm is there," slogan with his famous Austrian accent.

"Let's do kind of like a movie, make it big," Schwarzenegger tells PEOPLE of the inspiration behind the new campaign. "And so it's kind of using all of my things that I'm known for — it's the action movies, it's the accents, it's the comedy."

Guardians of the Galaxy star Pratt has been married to Arnold's daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger, since 2019. The couple share two children: daughters Lyla Maria, 3, and Eloise Christina, who turns 2 in May. Pratt also shares his 11-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris.

At a special Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 screening back in May 2023, Pratt told PEOPLE that his father-in-law's "support means the world to me on a couple different levels."

"Just being his son-in-law and being part of his family, it obviously means a lot to have his support," he said at the time. "But then on another level, just being somebody who grew up loving his movies, the big action hero — I dreamed of being Commando and dreamed of being the soldier from Predator, and I loved Terminator. So him to give me kudos for going out and being on the marquee is really kind of mind-blowing."

Schwarzenegger's State Farm advertisement will air just before the second quarter begins on Sunday, when the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers face off in Super Bowl LVIII, airing on CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET.
