BBC Beyond Paradise series 2 final sees key character return and chilling soap serial killer guest star

Beyond Paradise is back for one last time tonight as Humphrey and Martha's wedding day finally arrives. The final episode of the second series airs on BBC One tonight at 8pm - but the big question is will they make it down the aisle?

In the first series, Martha called off their wedding and there was seemingly no going back for the couple in the final episode. Humphrey was making enquiries about returning to the MET and Martha was talking about the separation of their finances in preparation for them parting ways following a failed round of IVF.

But after Martha tracked Humphrey down in Saint Marie, they declared their love for each other and the engagement ring was placed back on her finger. Tonight, with a lavish affair organised by Anne - whose plans feel far grander than anything either of them actually wanted - viewers are eagerly anticipating their vows.

But of course, it wouldn't be beyond Beyond Paradise without some drama. The big day is threatened to be spoilt after the theft of a valuable museum piece. The team are after a nefarious pair of cyber criminals before they can join in the celebrations.

With bride and groom running around and thieves running amok in Shipton Abbott, can the team wrap everything up in time to mark Humphrey and Martha's long-awaited union - or does fate have other plans?

And there is also the return of a very special character who first appeared in the Christmas special. Ryan, the young boy Humphrey and Martha instantly connected with, is back.

The couple met the boy after he was brought into the station by Keby after being caught stealing a sausage roll. He was eventually returned to his mum after it was revealed he was having issues at home.

Ryan returns tonight, played by Isaac Vincent-Norgate. Could he be about to become a big part of their lives and journey to become foster parents?

Strictly Come Dancing guest star

Strictly star and comedian Jayde Adams is joining the cast tonight to play Sandy Reynolds. Jayde, who is also an opera singer, competed in the BBC show in 2022 with professional partner was Karen Hauer. They were eliminated from the competition in week 5.
