BBC's John Bishop blown away after he receives note on the train to Liverpool
John Bishop said a note he received on the train "made his day".
The 57-year-old comedian shared details of his train journey with his 893,000 Instagram followers. While he made his name doing stand up comedy, John has also forged a successful career in TV as he played Doctor Who's companion, Dan Lewis, from 2021 - 2022.
John received a note on the train from a Doctor Who fan that read "Thank you. You've given me a very welcome Doctor Who and comedy sign that everything is going to be alright. Keep being great."

It was an eventful journey for John as he also met astronaut, Tim Peake. He said: "I would like to thank the lady who handed me this note on the train today . I hope your adventure in Liverpool works out and thank you for being so kind to give me this . It made my day which is saying something as I also met @astro_timpeake on the same train."
John's wife, Mel, said: "Was a really lovely train journey with lovely people even the generous and patient man you spilt cold coffee on - a quick chat with him was nice."
A woman named Danielle took to the comments and thanked John as she said: "Hi John, this was me. You really made my day! Feels like The Doctor planted you in my timeline for a reason today! Xx"
Other fans took to the comments to praise the note. Emma said: "Wow, this is fabulous to be given such a lovely note."
