A body has been found as part of a search for missing man from Stroud. 50-year-old Ian, who was known to live in a tent in Whiteshill, was reported missing after he was last seen on Friday, March 1.

The urgent appeal was launched last week after Ian had been missing for more than two months. Gloucestershire Police say a body was found and recovered from a tent in the Painswick area on Thursday, May 16.

Ian's death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
