Brooke Vincent reveals she won't be back on 'Corrie' any time soon after birth of second child
Brooke Vincent says Coronation Street fans shouldn't expect her back on the cobbles any time soon, as she's focusing on her children for now.
Vincent played Sophie Webster for 15 years between 2004 and 2019, before taking maternity leave to give birth to her first child.

Mexx — Vincent's son with Sheffield United footballer Kean Bryan — was born in October 2019 and she gave birth to a second boy, Monroe, in May 2021.
"I love Corrie and it will always be my home, but it’s a very demanding job and quite restrictive as you have to be based near Manchester," Vincent told The Mirror.
"I’ve been doing it since age 11 and that’s been my priority, but now I have the boys they’re my priority.
"Maybe when they get to a certain age — if they’ll have me back that is — I’ll be saying: 'Please give me my job back'."

Vincent revealed Monroe's birth was complicated due to her keloid scar from a previous C-section and that she wasn't able to hold him for over an hour after he swallowed some fluid during the birth.
She said: "It was more of an out-of-body experience. You’re so tired and out of it. I knew something was going on but I also knew I was in the best place and the staff were amazing."
Vincent described childbirth as "a really hard and daunting experience", but added that "it’s also beautiful".
After a guest role in The League of Gentlemen, Vincent became the third actor to play the role of Sophie Webster, making her first appearance in May 2004 at the age of 12.
The character was revealed as a lesbian in 2010 and the show won an award from LGBT+ charity Stonewall for the storyline in which Sophie began a romance with her best friend, Sian.
Sophie and Sian became the first lesbian characters in the history of the soap.
