Brooke Vincent was left 'crying herself to sleep' as she will be spending time away from home as she embarks on not just one but two big career moves. The actress was reminded of her two young children as she came across a video of discussing 'lockdown babies'.

Brooke is a doting mum to her two sons - Mexx and Monroe - who she shares with her fiance Kean Bryan. Their eldest son made his arrival into the world in October 2019 and just over a year later, in November 2020, Brooke announced she was pregnant with her second child who was born in May 2021.

In the video she shared to her Instagram Story, another social media user wrote: "Our lockdown babies, four years ago we birthed you in the most uncertain times. Then we blinked, you're about to turn four years old and now we are two weeks away from finding out what school you'll be attending."

The video continued: "It's six months until the next chapter of their lives begin. The days can be long, but the years are so short." And it clearly struck a chord with Brooke who wrote to her own fans and followers: "At this point I'm going to cry myself to sleep xx."

It comes as Brooke prepares for her stage debut. From Thursday (April 11), the former Coronation Street star will be touring the country in The Syndicate. It was revealed back in November that the 31-year-old will be starring in the late Kay Mellor’s final stage play that will be touring across the UK, including a stop at The Lowry.

Based on the BBC One show of the same name, the play will tell the story of five supermarket workers whose lottery syndicate numbers come in just as their jobs and livelihoods are under threat. It is being directed by Kay’s daughter and former Emmerdale actress Gaynor Faye in her late mum's name.

Brooke, sho shot to fame playing Sophie Webster from 2004 to 2019 in ITV's Corrie, will play Amy, the sister-in-law of supermarket assistant Jamie, who will be played by Gaynor's son Oliver Anthony in his theatrical debut after singer Max George was forced to withdraw from the role.

And she's been supported by her former Corrie co-star Sally Ann Matthews ahead of her first stint on stage in The Syndicate at Richmond Theatre. The play's social media team shared a video of Brooke from inside the theatre in which she encouraged people to go watch the show.

Resharing the video, Sally Ann, who plays Weatherfield's Jenny Connor, wrote on her Instagram Story: "So I went to see my squidgy @ellielouiseleach at Richmond Theatre in @cluedostageplay about a month ago. Sat next to a gorgeous young girl, got chatting. She said, 'No idea what this show is about only booked it this afternoon but I want to keep theatre alive'.

"I'll be back for our @brookelevivincent's opening night on Thursday and I hope I have an equally fabulous theatre seat neighbour. Sitting and sharing with a stranger is something else." Meanwhile, Brooke's real-life cousin, former Corrie co-star and Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie said: "So proud. Can't wait to see you smash it!"

Meanwhile, Brooke is also set to star in a new ITVBe reality series which will see he reunite with her real-life cousin and former ITV soap co-stars. Drama Queens will launch on ITVBe next week, on April 10, and the eight-episode reality series, focused around Manchester and the North West, follows the lives of a host of female actresses from across three of Britain’s biggest soap operas, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks.

Viewers can expect an inside look at the real, unscripted lives of these beloved soap stars, going behind the scenes of red-carpet events, awards ceremonies, holidays, house moves, and precious family moments. With the soap stars leading interconnected lives, the series introduces the genuine friendship groups between them.
