Nottingham Forest fans hope in-demand winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has dropped a positive hint about his future.

The 23-year-old has no shortage of admirers after a fine first season at the City Ground. When the transfer window opens next month, it would be no surprise if teams come sniffing.

Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked amid talk of three Premier League teams eyeing up the Reds ace - including a Champions League side. He is also said to have “multiple clubs” across Europe monitoring his situation.

However, amid the speculation, Hudson-Odoi has uploaded an interesting post on social media. And Forest supporters hope it points to him staying put.

The ex-Chelsea man posted a highlights video of his 2023/24 campaign in the Garibaldi. Alongside it, he wrote: “23/24 Season done. Thank you for all your amazing support, we go again next season…”

His post attracted plenty of comments from Reds fans. Below is a look at what has been said.

mxcca.21: Is this his way of saying he’s not going anywhere

louglitter: Does that mean you’re staying? CHO!!!

floeddy1841: At the WFCG? We need you!!!

joe.peters198: We go again…at Forest

@jimmoriarty81: I hope so buddy, I really hope so

@JoelleW: You wouldn’t be as cruel as saying that and leaving so taking this as a VERY good sign

@ahfc02bbw: CHO all aboard the Forest train then?

@tobysomeoneb: Love This from CHO on Instagram, feels to me like a "I'm staying put"

Hudson-Odoi penned a three-year deal when he made the switch Trentside last summer. The initial £3 million Forest paid Chelsea for him has proved to be a bargain and he is now said to be worth in the region of £30m.

Nevertheless, the Reds will have to oversee some player sales this summer to avoid falling foul of financial restrictions again. Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has said interest in some of his star players is inevitable and has expressed his “frustration” that Profitability and Sustainability Rules mean clubs are forced into letting some of their top talent go.

The Portuguese said last weekend: “You have to realise that the way we finished this season, some players in our squad are going to attract interest, for sure. They are talented, they are young and they are in a good moment of their careers. You cannot control these things. We have to see what happens.

“It (PSR restrictions leading to players being sold) frustrates. But not only me, all the managers in the Premier League are for sure thinking the same.”
