Day two of the Cheltenham festival kicks off today, and with it the sartorial spectacle known as Ladies Day.

It’s the day when event attendees and audiences at home are distracted from betting tips and nail-biting finishes by the daring, dazzling - and occasionally disastrous - outfits on display.

This year, as every year, the guest list of sartorial risk-takers are out to win the annual Ladies Day Competition. Known as #ColourMeMarch, outfits are judged on their colour, style and all-round eye-catching appeal, with the winning ensemble earning its owner a brand new Mini One Car from W.O. Lewis and Sytner Solihull.

From dramatic hats and headpieces, to tweeds and faux furs, colourful accessories and some gravity-defying heels, the Cheltenham racecourse is where to look this week for some truly sensational style.
