Church to raise funds with antiques valuation evening

A church in Weymouth is welcoming an expert to value antiques as it looks to raise funds.

All Saints’ Church on Portland Road will be holding an antiques evaluation evening on Friday, July 5.

The event will start at 5pm, and run through to 7.30pm.

People are being encouraged to come along on the evening and discuss the history and value of their own antiques and collectibles. An expert from Duke’s Auctions will be on hand to value to the items.

The price of valuation per item is £2.50, with all proceeds from the event going back to the church.

Refreshments will be available, with no prior booking required.
