Coronation Street spoilers: Spider leaps into action, Stephanie Davis makes debut

Spider goes on a potentially deadly mission on Coronation Street next week, as he goes all out to rescue Toyah from her kidnapping hell.

A furious Tim goes toe-to-toe with the lying Stephen when his deadly game is uncovered, there some romantic intrigue for Aadi, and another character exits the ITV soap.

But who is departing the Street?

Shots fired as Spider tries to rescue Toyah

With Toyah still missing, Spider is on a mission to rescue her. And in Monday’s episode, he’ll be seen receiving a text telling him to follow instructions or Toyah will be killed.

When Leanne learns of this development, she’s keen to contact the police, but Spider says this could put Toyah’s life at risk. So he instead heads off to the waste ground where he’s been ordered to go.

But when he gets there, Spider sees that the kidnapper has brought a gun…and soon enough, a shot is ringing out…

Stephen is confronted by Tim – and a fight breaks out

As Stephen readies Elaine for what he hopes will be a fatal holiday to the Peak District, she finds an old family photo which features the woman Stephen was recently on a Zoom call with – his ex-wife Gabrielle. And this is all the proof Elaine needs that Stephen has been lying to her.

Elaine then confides in her son Tim and shows him a metal box in which Stephen files things away. Prising it open, they’re shocked to find forged life insurance documents – a discovery that results in Tim confronting Stephen and telling him the game is up.

An angry Tim tells his adversary that he and Elaine are going to report him to the police. But when a struggle ensues, who will be the victor?

Max issues an ultimatum

When Laurel lets Max know that her Dad has asked her to support him at his sentencing, Mac makes it clear that if she goes, she’ll be on her own from this point onwards.

Corrie isn’t yet revealing what decision Lauren ends up making, however Wednesday’s episode will reveal that her dad was given an 18-year sentence.

Passion for Aadi?

Aadi takes on the job of right-hand man to a local entrepreneur by the name of Darren. But Aadi’s first job is merely to pick up Darren’s wife Courtney (former Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis) from an event and drive her home.

But when Courtney asks Aadi to join her for a kebab, he finds himself enjoying her company. Later in the week, Aadi then gets asked by Darren to take Courtney shopping, and it’s on this trip she reveals she actually has an MBA.

Events then take surprising turn on Friday when Aadi gets a text from Courtney telling him to meet her at Darren’s office. But when he arrives there, he finds Courtney alone – and when she reveals she has the hots for him before leaning in for a kiss, how will Aadi react?

Isabella exits

Brian returns from his trip with Isabella and admits to Mary that he’s had enough of his cousin. Mary’s advice? That Brian be honest with Isabella about how he’s feeling. However, the complicating factor here is Mary, who Brian harbours romantic desires for – something that Rita has now noticed…

On Wednesday, Brian is caught by Isabella when he’s on the phone to her builder in Naples and she realises he must want rid of her. Brian finally admits that, yes, he would like her to leave – but Isabella bursts into tears and reveals that Brian is her only friend.

Still, by Friday, Brian and Mary are both waving Isabella off at the airport. And as Brian thanks Mary for her support throughout all this, it’s clear to viewers his feelings are running deeper than he’s letting on…
