Daughter Captures Emotional Farewell for Retiring Aeromexico Flight Attendant

A longtime Aeromexico flight attendant, Javier Navarro, received an emotional farewell from his fellow crew members and passengers on his last flight after almost 40 years of service, video posted on April 17 by his daughter shows.

“Congratulations, and very good work all these years. Have a good time,” the pilot can be heard saying in Spanish over the intercom.

“My father is a flight attendant. On February 27, he completed his last flight,” Fernanda Navarro Aguilar told Storyful. “His family accompanied him at this important moment in his career. The crew, pilots, and passengers of the plane paid tribute to his 40 years of work.”

Aguilar wrote on the video that she was too overwhelmed to record the words shared by the captain and crew, but she later followed Navarro “like paparazzi” as passengers clapped and he hugged his colleagues and family.
