A Russian helicopter was pulled from the Kyiv reservoir just north of the Ukrainian capital, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU) said on Thursday, May 5.
The DPSU said border guards used a naval boat to tow the helicopter, which they lifted on buoys from the bottom of the reservoir.
In the video footage, buoys can be seen floating in a dock with partially submerged machinery poking out of the water. The camera then cuts to a damaged helicopter lying on the raised dock.
Further footage posted to social media on May 4 showed the same helicopter being pulled from the water. Credit: State Border Guard Service of Ukraine via Storyful
