Drew Barrymore Dips 'Into the Archives' for New Clothing Collab with Justin Bieber's Brand Drew House

The actress and host collaborated with Justin Bieber’s streetwear line drew house to showcase photos from her personal collection

Drew Barrymore is sharing never-before-seen photos for a clothing collaboration with Justin Bieber.

On the Thursday, May 2 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the 49-year-old actress and host is set to reveal her new capsule collection for Bieber’s streetwear brand drew house.

For the announcement, Barrymore and her “Drew’s News” co-host Ross Mathews donned brown hoodies and corduroy patchwork pants, both featuring a nostalgic black-and-white photo of the Scream alum.

“Today is a very special day for me because we've been working on it for a very long time and it's actually here and it's ready to come out,” the star shared. “Drew's news is reporting here, very first time exclusively, that Justin Bieber and I have dropped a new drew house collection together. It's a Drew X Drew Collab.”

The pair previously collaborated on a drew house collection in 2019, which included a graphic tee featuring a photo of Barrymore as a young child when she starred in the 1982 film, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Another design featured a glamorous headshot of Barrymore.

Bieber launched the clothing brand, which is a nod to his middle name, in January 2019 with an array of T-shirts, sweatshirts and shorts, along with a collection of beige corduroy pieces, emblazoned with the drew house logo and a smiley face.

“Drew house has made T-shirts with my face on it before and we've collab’ed before,” Barrymore says, sharing that Bieber called her to ask to collaborate again.

“This collection was really loved and very meticulous because rather than sourcing other images, I went into my personal photography collection,” she says. “I have 25,000 images, almost 30,000 images archived from when I did photography.”

After selecting an initial “20 to 30” images, Barrymore and Bieber landed on 10 that made it into the collection, which will be rolled out with additional drops.

The photos, Barrymore explains, showcase the star having fun by “going to concerts, hanging out with my friends, playing.”

She adds, “There's no photographer involved, there's no hair and makeup, they're just real life scenarios that no one else has ever seen. I wanted to bring them out for the first time exclusively for Justin and drew house.”
