Eurogamer reports that Bethesda's long-awaited update brings Fallout 4 into the next generation promising 60fps and enhanced resolutions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players—for free. The timing of today's announcement appears to have been deliberately synchronized with the premiere of Amazon's Fallout adaptation as the first season is now accessible for streaming on Prime. PC gamers gain widescreen support and access via the Epic Game Store. New content includes the "Enclave Remnants" questline, challenging players to thwart The Enclave's schemes, and the Makeshift Weapon Pack featuring quirky armaments like a baseball launcher and a piggy bank.
