Fearne Cotton leaving Celebrity Juice: Host QUITS as Holly Willoughby pays tribute

Keith Lemon has plans to reunite with Fearne Cotton to bring back THIS old TV show

Fearne Cotton has announced she is leaving Celebrity Juice after a decade-long tenure on the Keith Lemon panel show.

Cotton, 37, is turning her back on Lemon’s relentless NSFW mocking to step down from her role as a panellist alongside Holly Willoughby.

In a statement she told The Sun: “After ten years of complete fun, I have decided to leave Celebrity Juice. It has been a joy to be part of this magnificent show and I wish the team the very best in future series.”

Willoughby, who kicked off the show alongside Cotton in 2008, paid tribute to her co-star as she referenced a naughty skit which saw them sucking on a banana as they completed an obstacle course.

“I’m going to miss you being on the other side of my banana...,” she posted on Instagram. “Thank you for 10 years of laughter... love you @fearnecotton ... we are going to MISS you on @celebjuiceofficial SOOO much.”

Fans said the show is “not going to be the same” as they mourned Cotton’s departure.

One posted: “Noooooooooooooo why split the dream team.”

Others threw out names for possible replacements with many calling for I’m A Celebrity 2018 runner-up Emily Atack to take over.

Cotton appeared on 18 out of 20 series of the ITV2 show, taking time out for maternity leave in 2013 which saw her temporarily replaced by Kelly Brook.

Cotton currently hosts her wellbeing Happy Place podcast which sees her interview a number of celebs about mindfulness. She recently launched a Cath Kidston range and presents a BBC Radio 2 show on Sunday afternoons. She has also launched her books Happy and Quiet plus a range of children’s stories.

Cotton, who has two children with husband Jesse Wood, will front a new BBC series, titled Project Interiors, which is set for release next year.

Her replacement is yet to be announced.
