Five star cruise ship with 'luxury' cabins arrives in Liverpool

A five-star cruise ship with "luxury" cabins has arrived in Liverpool.

The Hanseatic Inspiration docked at Liverpool Cruise Terminal on the sixth day of its itinerary on Monday, May 6. The cruise started on Tuesday, April 30 from Porto-Leixoes in Portugal and will finish in Hamburg, Germany on Monday, May 13.

On route to Hamburg the ship will also stop in Isle of Man, Isle of Iona, Lunga Island, Ullapool, Kirkwall and Aberdeen. The cruise liner was launched in October 2019.

It is operated by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and offers a "five-star expedition". There are a total of 120 cabins and the public areas include a lounge area, an "expansive" sun deck with pool area and the Ocean Spa.

According to its description the Hanseatic Inspiration also offers "three exceptional restaurants on board". It also includes "luxury" cabins.

For those staying in the junior suites and grand suites, there is a butler service. Among other things, the butler is responsible for packing and unpacking clothes and is available around the clock.

The cruise ship was christened by Ranganathan Gregoire Yogeshwar, a Luxembourgish physicist and science journalist based in Germany. The ship is set to leave Liverpool at 11pm on Monday, May 6.
