These were the bundles of cannabis plants bagged up and put in the back of a police van after firefighters made a discovery at a house. Crews were called out to Cheshire Street in Mossley, Tameside, at around 1.30pm yesterday (May 13).

Three fire engines from Mossley, Ashton and Stalybridge were dispatched after a call was made over 'concerns for safety' at the house. As they arrived, firefighters uncovered several cannabis plants at the property.

Crews called Greater Manchester Police following the discovery and handed the scene over to cops. GMP says 'multiple cannabis plants were found and later seized'.
