Incredible transformation for Pudding the dog who was dumped on Christmas Eve
Life is quite different for Pudding the dog this Christmas after he was found abandoned on Christmas Eve 2015 with fur so matted he could hardly see.
RSPCA inspector Sarah Morris found a cold and shivering dog tied up in the cold on December 24th last year and named him Pudding.
A trip to the vets and the hairdressers revealed that under all that matted fur was a thin and under-nourished pup.

But after a haircut and some TLC a total transformation took place, and Pudding now has a loving forever home.
“The state Pudding was in when I first saw him was so sad, but it also made me so angry that someone had neglected him so much already, just to dump him on Christmas Eve,” Sarah said.
“He was soaking wet. We had torrential rain during the night and he had just been left out in it, tied up. I felt so sorry for this poor little chap.
“Pudding’s coat was so matted around his legs and face that he couldn’t see out of his right eye. His nails were overgrown and he was covered in fleas.”
After a stint at the Little Valley animal shelter in Exeter, Pudding was adopted by a couple with experience in looking after animals from abusive backgrounds.
“When we inquired about Pudding having heard his plight over Christmas, we were desperate to help in any way we could,” said Rachel, one of Pudding’s owners.

“We took him on last month and he is such a little darling, he’s settled in great already and it’s amazing to see how much he has blossomed in such a short space of time.
“He’s got his own room in the house for when he needs ‘down time’ and he even has his own wardrobe – I think he’s probably got more coats than me!
“We treat him like a king because that’s what he deserves after what he has been through.”
Happy Christmas Pudding!
