Jack Antonoff 'overwhelmed' after The Tortured Poets Department release

Jack Antonoff is "overwhelmed" after the release of The Tortured Poets Department.

The Bleachers frontman - who has collaborated with Taylor Swift on her new album The Tortured Poets Department - has admitted he is "overwhelmed".

"love this album more than i can say .... love you all very much ... more later very overwhelmed ... love you taylor," Jack wrote on Twitter hours after the album's release on Friday.

The musician, who is credited as a producer on The Tortured Poets Department, seemingly went on to shout out two of the album's songs.

"!! FOTS heads lets go !!" he wrote, apparently referring to the track Fresh Out The Slammer, and "down bad heads as well" in a separate post, seemingly referring to the track Down Bad.

Jack first collaborated with Taylor on her 2013 track Sweeter Than Fiction. They have had a close working relationship ever since.

Meanwhile, musician Aaron Dessner, who also worked on Taylor's latest album, took to Instagram following the release.

"I'm so excited and honored to share that I have contributed to my dear friend and collaborator @taylorswift's brilliant 11th album -- a 31 song double album / anthology called The Tortured Poets Department," he wrote in a new post.

"We started working on these songs over two years ago and it feels like they have kept us company and evolved in beautiful and unexpected ways through so much life lived during this process," Aaron continued. "It's hard to believe Taylor and I have now recorded over 60 songs together (17 across this anthology!!) in the 4 years since we began working together on Folklore in 2020."

Aaron went on to share that he is "forever grateful" to the August hitmaker, adding that he is "continually astonished by her skills as a songwriter and performer".
