Jeremy Clarkson, along with partner Lisa Hogan, was seen battling with tears after a heart-rending farewell to their livestock on Diddly Squat Farm.

The 64-year-old, who resides in the Oxfordshire area of Chipping Norton, has invited Prime Video viewers to join him on an agricultural journey via Clarkson's Farm, which first premiered in 2021. Viewers of the hit show have been introduced to many farming faces including audience favourite Kaleb Cooper and Gerald Cooper.

The third season, scheduled for official launch on May 3, sees the Diddly Squat Farm team facing considerable obstacles involving pigs, inflation, and daunting weather related issues. In the premier episode of the third season, Jeremy opens up about the shutdown of their on-site restaurant.

As reports the Express, he explains: "With the restaurant shutting, we could no longer afford to keep all the cows. We could hang onto the calves to fatten them up, but their mums would have to go."

Watching over ten of their beloved cows being loaded onto lorries and leaving behind Diddly Squat farm struck a tender nerve with Jeremy, telling co-worker Charlie Ireland: "I'm finding today really quite sad because for the last year or so I have opened the windows and there were cows - and I loved that."

Seeing these animals every day has brought so much joy, Jeremy shares, "It just cheers up my heart every morning to see them," anticipating a difficult night ahead due to the separation distress experienced by the calves.

Jeremy Clarkson was visibly moved on camera as he asked if his cherished cow Pepper would be taken away, with Charlie gently advising, "I wouldn't ask too many questions about Pepper. Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to."

The show aired touching home videos captured by Lisa of the calves and cows causing chaos in their garden, followed by a poignant scene where Jeremy, with his arm around Lisa, watched the cows being led away. The moment was laden with emotion as Jeremy appeared to fight back tears, falling silent alongside Lisa during the gut-wrenching goodbye.

At one point, Jeremy turned from the camera, clearly distressed, and wiped his eyes, struggling with the departure of the cows he had grown fond of at Diddly Squat Farm. Hand in hand, Lisa and Jeremy walked off, reflecting on the time spent with the livestock they had raised on their farm.

While the episode featured difficult goodbyes, it also showcased Jeremy's foray into jam-making, which proved challenging, especially with the calculations involved. Despite the hurdles, 'Jeremy's Juice' was eventually priced at £3.60 per jar, ready for sale, after Jeremy crunched the numbers for production costs.

Diddly Squat Farm Shop's range, including jams, chutneys, rapeseed oils, seasonings, juices, alcohol, and merchandise, is now available through Amazon Fresh both online and in physical stores.

Lisa expressed her excitement about the new venture: "We are thrilled to bring a range full of Diddly Squat farm personality to Amazon Fresh customers - and I think people will love what they find. Anything you order really will bring a little bit of the Cotswolds to your home. My favourites, including a great range of rapeseed oils, our hand-cut crisps and of course bee juice honey, really will bring a smile to your face."
