The Princess of Wales will only meet with Prince Harry during his UK visit on one condition, it has been claimed. A royal expert has explained that Kate Middleton is unlikely to spend time with her brother-in-law in London next week.

He is returning to British soil to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. And Kate will only see him if the King asks her to, a royal expert has claimed.

Ingrid Seward said: "If the King asks, she will do it, but Charles being the sensitive and understanding soul he is, would be unlikely to ask such a favour from his adored daughter-in-law. The time must be right, and it's not right now."

Prince William is also "unlikely" to meet with Prince Harry, Ingrid claims. "William has enough going on and doesn't need the stress," she said.

"But he might realise Harry will want to see Kate after her cancer diagnosis as they were once so close. It remains to be seen if Kate is willing and able to face up to it. Does she have the energy to begin to try and heal the rift between the brothers or will she prefer to remain in the background?"

King Charles has been offering his support to his "beloved daughter-in-law" following her cancer diagnosis earlier this year, BristolLive reports. The monarch is also being treated for cancer following an operation on his prostate.
