Residents of Kentucky’s Clark County reported flash flooding in and around their homes on Thursday evening, October 7, as heavy rain inundated the area.
Video taken by Katy Disney at her Winchester home shows floodwater submerging yards around her. Disney, a local teacher, said up to four feet of water had submerged her backyard and flooded her basement.
A flash-flood warning issued by the National Weather Service remained in effect until the early hours of Friday, October 8.
