Hundreds of children will be able to experience London's West End theatre for free this summer as the popular Kids Week returns.

For the whole month of August, Kids Week allows children aged 17 and under to watch some of the biggest and best shows currently on the West End without costing a penny.

As the organiser shared: "Kids Week is BACK!  Running for over 25 years, children 17 and under go FREE to participating theatre shows between 24 July - 6 September."

The deal works when accompanied by an adult paying full price, but along with the free ticket, you can also buy two additional children's tickets for half price and no booking fees.

Kids Week was created to help everyone get the chance to see theatre along with giving families more affordable activities to enjoy over the summer.

Besides free and cheaper tickets, families can also take part in one of the many activities available across the summer, with more information expected soon.

Currently, the shows involved in the scheme have not yet been released but they are set to be announced soon.

Kids Week will be on from July 24 until September 6 with tickets to go on sale in June.

On Tuesday, June 11 at 10am, tickets for participating shows will be available.

Last year nearly all of the tickets sold out so you will need to be quick as they are only a select few available per show.
