Madonna shocked her fans during a surprise live performance at a famous New York gay bar on New Year’s Eve with her son David Banda. But not necessarily for the right reasons.
The 60-year-old gave an impromptu performance in honour of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Rising, and many fans were left commenting on her physical appearance.
The ‘Vogue’ singer, who is known for her toned and slender figure, appeared to have a significantly larger posterior than usual.
While she arguably could have simply been wearing trouser padding, some have speculated online that she has undergone buttock augmentation surgery.
Infamous gossip blogger Perez Hilton posted a clip from her performance and captioned the video: ‘Did Madonna get butt implants???’
While one fan described her new look as ‘sad,’ another hoped that the speculation wasn’t true as her ‘body is beautiful the way it is.’
I think the saddest ending to 2018 is finding out that Madonna got butt implants. pic.twitter.com/hhpnrllQ1E

HNY my queen! I’m hoping that you’re not doing any of those butt implants… you’re body is beautiful the way it is, and you NEVER follow the crowd! 🙏🏼👍🏼🔥❤️ @Madonna

Several fans said that they hoped the new look was just carefully placed padding, while others rushed to the singer’s defence with one saying she still looked ‘hot’ regardless.
Nothing against plastic surgery but I hope Madonna’s new booty is a complete joke. It looks terrible. 😩 I’m hoping it’s just padding.

I really hope that’s padding in Madonna’s pants because if not….,

During her eye-catching performance, Madonna gave a heartfelt speech about the importance of LGBT rights and equality. The Stonewall Inn is the gay bar and site that helped launch the LGBT movement 50 years ago during the historical ‘Stonewall riots.’
She went on to perform her hit ‘Like a Prayer‘ and Elvis Presley’ classic ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love‘ with the help of her 13-year-old son David who played the guitar.
Madonna adopted Banda in 2006 from the Home of Hope in Malawi. He is a member of Benfica football team youth academy in Lisbon, Portugal. Madonna moved there in 2017 to support her son’s professional football ambitions.
She is also mother to daughter Mercy 13, adopted in 2009, and twins Esther and Stella, 6, who she adopted in 2017.
She also has two biological children, daughter Lourdes, 22 (father Carlos Leon), and son Rocco, 18, from her marriage with Guy Ritchie.
