Matt and Adrienne

Both Matt and Adrienne make an appearance on Married At First Sight UK The Reunion but the couple haven't been together for some time now. They split up shortly after choosing to stay together in the final vows, with them both turning up to the final dinner party single.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Adrienne said of their split: "Matt and I's relationship now is minimal, to say the least. The reunion was very, very difficult. After the experiment, I'd gone home to some devastating news basically.... And when I do try and be in my feelings it was like ''well I've gone through hard times too.

"In the reunion there was a lot of negativity around the way that we finished but we ended things mutually, which is what I was so confused about... And then at the reunion it was like 'I'm going to blame you for all of this' and I was like 'whoa. We ended this mutually', like what? I was so confused.

"And obviously at that time as well I was hurting from the news I had going on at home and trying to adapt back into normality, so I didn't speak to Matt up until our wedding day was airing."

Initially MAFS viewers were divided as Adrienne didn't want kids but stayed with Matt who does. On the show, Matt said he wanted to have children with Adrienne but accepted her decision. "If I had the option I would like to have children with you. If I have kids with you, it's a bonus, if we don't, we don't." He said.

Meanwhile, Adrienne mulled it over but decided to stick with Matt - despite wanting different things out of life. She had told her mum on the show: "Matt said he did want kids. I worry it gets to three years and I'm not ready." But she added: "I think we could work."

Shona

However, it seems Matt did find love on the experiment as he got together with Shona who also appeared on the show but had been married to Brad. In November, Matt and Shona went public with their romance that had blossomed after the show was filmed.

In a joint interview with OK! magazine, the couple revealed they were very happy together. Shona said: "We have a really healthy, happy, safe, fun, relationship - I really appreciate Matt so much, it’s what I deserve, we deserve each other. I’m proud to be his girlfriend and it just works."

The pair had to keep their romance a secret for five months before being able to reveal they were a couple. On keeping it secret, she added: "Matt would be driving and I would be in the back, we would be walking around Nottingham and I'd be all the way over there, we were like secret agents on a mission."

Rozz and Thomas

Rosaline and Thomas both arrive at the reunion separately. But in December, fans had hoped Rozz and Thomas were secretly back together because there had been lots of hints on social media that they were spending lots of time together as well as gushing compliments.

They decided to split up during their homestay on Married At First Sight UK. Their relationship hadn't got off to a good start because Rozz admitted she wasn't attracted to Thomas, leading to awkwardness on both their wedding day and honeymoon. Rozz felt they were more like friends, with her feeling like Thomas didn't want to be intimate with her, and eventually she told him her heart was just not in it - breaking the hearts of viewers.

Ella and Jay

Ella and JJ are back for the reunion and they left the show as friends, even though they didn't find long-lasting love with each other. They weren't originally married on the show but in a twist of fate they had fallen for one another and re-entered the experiment together. However, it wasn't meant to last.

How will they get on at the reunion? At the last dinner party, Ella even apologised to Bianca for stealing JJ off her but Bianca said she was "fuming" they were no longer together. JJ was real honest with Bianca as he said that their relationship wasn't meant to be and it was just unfortunate things hadn't worked out with Ella.

Jordan and Erica

Erica and Jordan are one of the success stories from Married At First Sight, so it's no surprise they are back for the reunion. And their romance has gone from strength to strength since leaving the show. Erica opened up about how their relationship had changed after the show with us.

Late last year, the reality star told Yahoo News: "We would love to move to Manchester. I've only been a couple of times but I think it's an amazing city and it's not as far away as London and it's close to Sheffield."

Of their relationship, she added: "It's probably a lot better since coming out of the show because you don't have the cameras, you don't have the stress of the couples around you. You can do what you want. You're in the real world, you're not in that MAFS bubble.

"We've just been going from strength to strength and we've barely spent any time apart, to be honest, we spend a lot of time together, between Edinburgh and Sheffield - and we went on holiday! It's just been good."

Paul and Tasha

Of course it wouldn't be Married At First Sight without some major news being served up at the reunion dinner party. But it's no surprise that the MAFS stars' jaws dropped when they witness a real life proposal on the TV show which sees strangers meet for the first time at the aisle.

Paul and Tasha's romance definitely take centre stage at the party as Paul popped the question to Tasha. The hopeful romantic presented her with a ring in front of the rest of the group. He said: "Tasha, I want to commit my future to you for the rest of my life."

There was a huge reaction, from screams to cheers. Will Tasha say yes again now that they really know each other?

While acknowledging their fiery relationship on the show in the final vows, the couple decided to commit to each other for the future and trial their romance in the outside world. They both wanted to move in together and they even spoke about having children one day.

Laura

Single Laura returned to the reunion but her former TV husband Arthur doesn't make an appearance at the dinner party. This won't come as a surprise after the frosty end to their romance. While the couple made it all the way to the end of the show, Laura was criticised by viewers for "brutally" dumping Arthur in the final vows.

Arthur had laid his love on the table, sharing his hopes of a future together - only for Laura to tell him she wanted to break up with him. Not holding back, she told him on the show: "I have to be honest, I've been troubled by nagging doubts. I worry I begin to lose myself in the process. Have you always brought the best out in me?"

She added: "Being away from our little bubble has reminded me of challenges we have faced and come through them together... However, speaking to my friends has reminded me of the person I am. I know we’ve grown as individuals during this process.

"But the more I grow as a person, the more I grow apart from you. I’ve always been a fixer but I realise this relationship cannot be fixed. You’ve helped me realise what you don’t want. Thank you for making me realise who I am, you will be perfect for someone but it won’t be me."

Georges and Peggy

Peggy and Georges appear to come to the reunion together. Georges also has a major revelation to share with the rest of the group. He said: "We've had sex." On the show, not having sex caused the couple some friction but Peggy wanted to take things slow.

They may be together in the recently filmed reunion but Georges and Peggy announced their split on Valentine's Day. They decided to commit to each other in the final vows but the couple had a rocky romance which played out on our screens in the reality series.

Sharing the news, Peggy wrote on social media on Valentine's Day: "I'm so sorry I've been quiet on socials everybody but there's a reason for my silence. Me and Georges are no longer together and I'm absolutely heartbroken.

"It's affected my mental health and it's taken me weeks to come to terms with it but with it being Valentine's Day, I can't pretend to be OK. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and our journey... Nobody is more upset about it than me x."

Peggy's family didn't approve of Georges and she shared her struggles with this on the show. However, in the final vows, Peggy decided to trust herself and she put herself first when choosing to stay with her TV husband.

She said on Married At First Sight UK in the final vows: "This is by far the biggest decision of my life. My family want the best for me, and family and respect to me are everything. They want me to be happy and put myself first.

"As much as I wanted to trust you, trust for me is something that is earned. I may not trust easily, but I trust myself. And I also trust that you'll prove everyone that doubted you wrong. So my decision is to stay and continue our story together."

Jay had been partnered with Luke on Married At First Sight UK, who doesn't appear in the reunion show. Their time came to an end on the show when Luke was booted off after getting into a physical fight with Jordan behind the scenes.

Following their exit from the show, they were unable to make their romance work in the outside world. Jay returns to the reunion to watch all of the drama play out.
