It appears there is no love lost between former rugby union star, Mike Tindall, and his royal cousin-in-law, Prince Harry - as a scathing comment has resurfaced in which Tindall seemed to suggest the Duke of Sussex was behaving like a b*****d.

The swipe was made during the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee party in June 2022, during which Tindall publicly snubbed his wife's cousin as he opted not to join in Zara's conversations with the Prince, either during or after the thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral. Instead, he chose to sit in silence, or speak to the Earl of Snowdon.

And it was later in the day, after the concert thrown in honour of the Queen's landmark milestone - which Harry and Meghan did not attend, but the Tindalls did - that the sporting pro made the cutting remark to another guest, allegedly describing Prince Harry's behaviour as that of a "b*****d", according to the Daily Express.

The comment has resurfaced ahead of this summer's Invictus Games, due to be held in Düsseldorf at the end of July - as it emerged that Mike Tindall is set to be given an important role at the event, which was founded by Prince Harry 10 years ago.

Royal author Angela Levin told GB News that Mike Tindall has been made a patron of the Games, over concerns it has become "much too royal". And royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams, added: "I think Harry is absolutely furious about this. It has been announced, but very quietly."

Modeled after the Warrior Games in the US, the Invictus Games were founded by Harry in 2014 to offer wounded veterans the challenge of competing in sports events similar to the Paralympics. And the Duke of Sussex is set to return to the UK this summer to attend a special service to mark the 10-year anniversary of his event.
