Yahoo News This Morning fans spot issue with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard debut
This Morning fans have insisted show bosses "missed a trick" with the debut of new hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard on Monday (March 11).
The latest instalment of the ITV daytime show marked the duos first official episode as the new hosts, replacing Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
However, some viewers were left "disappointed" as the show didn’t deliver what they were expecting.

Kicking off the episode, Shephard began: "Welcome back to a brand new week on This Morning."
"And we are so excited to be here aren't we?" Deeley enthused, with Shepherd replying: "Giddy!"
However, taking to X (formerly Twitter), several viewers explained they were expecting a more visible change for the new version of This Morning.
"Where is the new set, new format?" one viewer questioned. "Sorry, new presenters isn’t enough to make me watch anymore #thismorning."
"Think This Morning missed a trick today," a second fan remarked. "Was expecting a whole new re-brand with set change and mixing up the format!! #thismorning #disappointed."

"I was surprised that they didn't even put Ben and Cat into the opening titles," a third viewer wrote. "It makes me wonder how permanent they actually are... I was also hoping for a new set and so on!"
"As good as Cat and Ben are, today would have been a great opportunity to totally relaunch and refresh #ThisMorning with a makeover - new features, change of format, updated set, new contributors etc," a fourth added. "As it stands, it feels exactly the same."
"Big new era for #ThisMorning starts today AAAAAND… they’ve not changed anything on the set, the items are all the same and it feels like Ben and Cat are just the latest on the conveyer belt of presenters rather than it feeling like a fresh start, which it arguably should," another posted.

Despite some being disappointed by the lack of a refurbished set, many viewers were pleased with Deeley and Shephard’s skills as presenters.
"Can’t wait to see and hear new opinions and different stories," one viewer wrote. "Love these two, they are going to be amazing."
"This Morning will be wonderful again with these two excellent presenters at the helm," another added.
This Morning airs weekday mornings on ITV.
