A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash that closed the A10 for several hours.

The crash happened at the Ferry Bank junction in Southery, near Downham Market, between a grey Yamaha motorbike and a blue Volvo.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30's, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn for treatment.

A large emergency service presence attended the scene including an air ambulance at 1.40pm.

The stretch of road has become a blackspot for incidents with a man in his 20s dying in a nearby crash two weeks ago.

Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage.
