Mountain Rescuers Save Hiker Who Fell During Storm Agnes

A hiker was assisted by mountain rescuers after strong winds from Storm Agnes caused him to slip at Skiddaw, in England’s Lake District National Park, on Wednesday, September 27.

The man called for help after he reached the summit ridge of Skiddaw and “experienced the full force of Storm Agnes,” which caused him to slip and cut his face, according to the Keswick Mountain Rescue Team.
