After many years living a nomadic life, a husband and wife team have settled in the Cotswolds and opened their own jewellery shop. Trove, the independent jeweller celebrated opening its doors to all and the summer solstice with a lavish party.

Situated on Cirencester's Black Jack Street, Trove run by Brian and Jemmie Dolan, it specialises in unique pieces, tailored to the customers likes. The couple, Brian from London, Jemmie from Canada, moved to the area nine years ago to bring up their children.

They source everything themselves and buy locally as well as from Sri Lanks, Tanzania and Thailand. Brian Dolan's experience includes eight years working alongside world-renowned jeweller Laurence Graff, launching and managing two Graff boutiques – one on Oak Street in Chicago, and the other in the Wynn Hotel, Las Vegas.

In subsequent years, Brian became President of the legendary Fabergé Inc USA and was responsible for the re-introduction of the iconic jewellery house into North America, opening a flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York City. Brian said: "I still work with the cruise ships and have business in America but having something at home means so much.

"We visited Cirencester, met so many amazing people it felt like a place to settle after, for both of us, so many years as nomads, travelling for work. We didn't set Trove up as something for the super-rich, we would like to think Trove has something for everyone, hence we can make what you want for you."
