Someone developed a Mac-scented candle and it sold out within hours

This is the perfect gift for someone who loves Apple products - if you can get your hands on one.

A company has developed a MacBook-scented candle, and at $24 (£20) it’s a lot cheaper than the real thing.

The candle burns for around 55 hours - way longer than a Mac can stay powered for without recharging.

If you are wondering what your Mac smells like, the company responsible for the candle - Twelve South - says it is a combination of mint, peach, basil, lavender, mandarin, and sage.

Twelve South is based in Charleston in the U.S., and said they had sold out of the ‘New Mac Soy Candles’ within hours of them going on the shelves.

The company also sells products for Apple gear, such as iPad cases and covers.

‘We’re like a team of Mac nerds here,’ Twelve South boss told Ad Week

‘Something that starts as a joke can very easily become a product.’

Reaction to the candle has been good - with testers claiming it gives the perfect smell of a freshly opened Mac box.
