People wake up to £950 in bank account from DWP after filling in form

Department for Work and Pensions claimants could fill in one form to get £950 in a top-up from the government. DWP claimants are still saying they are seeing Cost of Living payments land in their bank accounts as the financial strife continues for many.

A claimant took to Facebook, claiming they received £950 after they submitted an online form for missing payments. The sum includes payments for individuals on Universal Credit, and other means-tested benefits, totalling £326, £324, and £301.

Two of these payments were initially intended for the recepient to access in the first rollout in 2022/3 and the other is from 2023/4. On its website, the DWP has a process for claimants to fill out forms to get money back and recoup the missing cash.
