A popular St Ives pub has reopened its doors to customers following a three-month closure. The White Hart, on Sheep Market, welcomed customers back on Monday (June 24).

The venue is one of the oldest pubs in the town centre, with the building dating back to the late 1600s. It has been closed since Easter and recently underwent a revamp of the premises.

Customers on platforms such as Tripadvisor have praised the pub over the years. Many reviewers highlighted its "excellent food" and for being "a lovely little gem".

A statement from the pub said: "We are thrilled to announce that our doors are reopening, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to your favourite local spot! Starting this week, our taps will be flowing with the finest beers on draught, and our screens will be showing all the football action you’ve missed.

"This week we are open from 12pm onwards. Bring your friends, bring your family, and let’s toast to new beginnings and great times ahead. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you soon!"

The pub will also be offering a new menu from July 1, with dishes including sandwiches, steaks and "The Queen of Harts" burger. More information can be found on their website here.
