Putnam County to see one primary challenge in March

Jan. 12—PUTNAM COUNTY — Only one race in Putnam County will be contested in either the primary or general election.

Incumbent County Commissioner Michael Lammers, a Republican, will be challenged by fellow Republican Brad Brubaker.

"By continuing to govern with conservative principles and values, we will ensure quality of life in Putnam County and well position it for the benefit of our future generations," Lammers said. "I have worked hard to earn the trust and confidence of Putnam County citizens over the last seven years, serving as their commissioner. It has been a great honor and responsibility. There is not a day that goes by where I do not think about and act in ways to improve the safety, security, and wellbeing of the county's 34,000 residents. I humbly ask for their continued support to re-elect me in the March 19, 2024 Republican Party Primary Election."

Brad Brubaker's campaign Facebook page calls him a lifelong resident of Putnam County and a dedicated public servant.
