Winger Yusuf Kabadayi is reportedly set to hold crunch talks with Bayern Munich over an exit with Rangers keen on a move.

Philippe Clement and director of football recruitment Nils Koppen are in the midst of a major rebuild at Ibrox with Clinton Nsiala, Jefte and Oscar Cortes all penning deals in recent weeks. The Light Blues are also said to be leading the race to land 20-year-old Kabadayi this summer - but reports in Germany suggest that the Bundesliga giants are reluctant to allow the attacker to leave the club permanently in this window.

After spending last season on loan at Schalke, the wide man is now in the final 12 months of his deal and could seal a pre-contract move away for nothing from January. German outlet Der Werden claim that Bayern are still weighing up the options over their next move with Kabadayi - and could move to offer the Germany U20 cap a new contract.

It is claimed that has left Kabadayi in a "difficult situation" with Rangers, St. Pauli, Lecce and Fenerbahce linked with a move. The in-demand prospect is said to have demanded a meeting with club chiefs over concerns a move could "stall".

Kabadayi is preparing for crunch talks with director of sport Max Eberl and sporting Christoph Freund. It is claimed there will be three options on the table for the player and his representatives - a permanent transfer, another loan with an option to buy, or a contract extension followed by a loan.

The Scottish Premiership side could face a nervous wait to see if all hurdles have been cleared for a deal. The report suggest Kabadayi's fate will "become clear in the next few weeks."
