Road closed as repairs get underway for 2 weeks

Repair works are underway on a major road between Bolton and Bury.

Hardy Mill Road and Arthur Mill Lane will be closed until around May 20 for potholes to be repaired.

The work is underway on Hardy Mill Road with a section near Hardy Mill Primary School being worked on.

The closure prohibits traffic going to Hardy Mill Road from Brookfold Lane and to Arthur Lane.

The road closures will stop all traffic from proceeding on Hardy Mill Road from Brookfold Lane to Arthur Lane and on Arthur Lane from Hardy Mill Road to the boundary with Bury.

Access to properties is to be maintained however this will be restricted at times.

Residents are asked to keep the roads clear of cars while the work is ongoing.
