Robbie Williams has revealed he had some cosmetic tweaks that left him looking like Desperate Dan.
The Angels singer spilled the beans in a post on Instagram as he shared more of the art he’s been doing lately, saying he’d had Botox and fillers as well as work on his chin that left him looking like the large-jawed cartoon character from The Dandy comic.
Opening up to his followers, Williams said he liked the look but admitted it was a bit painful.
Sharing what appeared to be a self-portrait, the singer wrote: “One time I had a few things done, Botox, fillers and something done to my chin that made me look like Desperate Dan.
“Perhaps 5 years ago. Nothing since then.”
The star, 49, said it was when he was on The Graham Norton Show alongside Justin Timberlake, Daniel Radcliffe and Anna Kendrick.
“I have to say. I looked Good…” he said.
Williams – who has four children with wife Ayda – went on: “To be honest I would of done it again if it didn't hurt so much.
“It felt like someone had battered me in a Wetherspoons...
“Anyway I probably will do something again…
“Who knows… I might not...”
“*cue 500 mums in the comment section shouting 'Robert, No!’ at me,” he joked.
The star’s prediction proved to be right, with many fans posting messages in the comments section saying that he looked “amazing” and didn’t need any work done.
“If it makes you happy great but I love the lil lines that make up faces,” said one, who urged: “Grow old with us!”
Another pleaded: “Don’t start messing with your face.
"You look great.”
“Every wrinkle shows we have more life experience,” said someone else.
“Be proud of your age, and all it brings.”
