Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson trained with a trio of wrestlers from Glasgow ahead of his Wrestlemania appearance earlier this month.

Scottish NXT Stars Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey and Wolfgang were called in to prepare the global super star as he returned to the ring for the first time in eight years in a tag match with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on April 6.

The Glasgow trio, known as Gallus, were flown out to the 51-year-old's Los Angeles home to help him get into ring shape.

This week the members of the faction posted pictures online of them posing alongside The Rock. Both of the Coffey brothers were seen wearing Celtic shirts.

Wolfgang posted on X: "The Rock says we're Gallus! GBOT."

Joe Coffey wrote: "GALLUS X FINAL BOSS"

The Hollywood actor replied to the post on social media thanking the trio for their help.

The Rock said: "Appreciate all the effort, ideas and hard work boys. Til next time. Keep kicking ass and see ya down the road."

Wrestling and Celtic fans were quick to take to the comments section of the posts.

One wrote: "We need The Rock in a Celtic top."

Another added:" Please tell me you gave him a Celtic top."
