S Club 7: Bankruptcy, Big Brother and fortune telling - what have the band been up to?
As the band reunite to mark their 25th anniversary we look back at what they have been up to since they split.
S Club 7 have announced they are reuniting for an anniversary tour 25 years on from when they were formed.
The band first went their separate ways in 2003 and reunited again seven years ago to tour the UK.
In between performing their hits on stage together the S Club members - Rachel Stevens, Jo O'Meara, Paul Cattermole, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, Tina Barrett, and Jon Lee have a quite chequered past between them.
We take a look back at which band members have been reaching for the stars, and who might never have had a dream come true...
Rachel Stevens
The 44-year-old singer has had the most successful music career out side of S Club 7, with hit singles including Sweet Dreams My LA Ex and Some Girls.
At the same time as topping the charts as a solo artist she became a lads' mag pin-up, appearing on the cover of FHM eight times and regularly featured in the magazine’s Sexiest Woman of the Year vote.
She has taken part in several reality TV shows, including coming second on Strictly Come Dancing in 2008, competing in Celebrity Masterchef and appearing on Dancing On Ice in 2022.
Stevens announced in July 2022 she has split with her husband Alex Bourne after 13-years of marriage. They have two daughters - eight-year-old Minnie and 12 year-old Amelie, who is pursuing a career on the West End stage.
Jo O'Meara
Jo O'Meara, 43, is unfortunately best remembered for becoming embroiled in a racism controversy on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007.
The Two In A Million singer, along with the late Jade Goody and model Danielle Lloyd, was accused of engaging in racist bullying towards Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty, who went on to win the show and later forgave her fellow contestants.
This has overshadowed her attempts to pursue a solo career and she has not secured any significant reality TV appearances since.
O'Meara - who has one son, born in 2008 - has also been plagued with back problems and struggles to perform the dance moves that once made S Club 7 famous.
In 2022 she confessed to having a gambling addiction during the height of the band's fame.
Paul Cattermole
Cattermole, 45, was the first to quit the band - leaving in 2002 to form his own nu metal group.
He has now reinvented himself as the 'Psychic Wizard' and is selling tarot readings on a premium rate phoneline.
The Bring It All Back singer was declared bankrupt in 2014 and claims to have trained and qualified as a professional psychic, offering his services in paranormal investigation and clairvoyance, as well as spiritual and tarot readings
Cattermole also made an awkward appearance on on Channel 4 dating show First Dates Hotel in 2019 in which he insisted on singing and playing the guitar.
Shortly the show aired he gave an interview claiming he and bandmate Hannah Spearritt were pushed into a relationship by their management.
The Reach singers - who met as teenagers in the National Youth Theatre - began dating two years after the band launched in 2001 and stayed together until 2006. They dated again for several months in 2015, when all seven members of the pop group reunited for a comeback tour.
Cattermole made headlines in 2018 when he sold his Best Newcomer Brit Award from 2000 on eBay, raising an impressive £66,100.
S Club 7 were nominated for six Brit Awards, winning Best Breakthrough Act in 2000 and British Single Of The Year for Don't Stop Movin' in 2002.
Hannah Spearritt
The 41-year-old Don't Stop Movin' singer pursued her acting career after the pop group announced their split in 2003.
She starred in successful ITV sci-fi series Primeval as Anny Maitland for five series. In 2017 she was cast in BBC soap EastEnders as Kandice Taylor. She left after a year in Albert Square when she fell pregnant with her first child. Spearritt now has two children aged four and two.
She recently revealed she had been left 'homeless' and her family were forced to sleep in a friend's office after finding themselves between rental properties over Christmas.
Bradley McIntosh
McIntosh, 41, attempted to launch a solo music career and has dabbled in producing. He has recorded several singles but not had any hits.
In 2006 he competed in Sport Relief, boxing against Jack Osbourne. Following the 2015 S Club reunion tour McIntosh continued as S Club 3 with O'Meara and Barrett and is still performing S Club hits live with Barrett at 90s nostalgia festivals. He is the proud dad to a five-year-old son.
Tina Barrett
Barrett, 46, has recorded several solo singles but failed to land a record deal. She toured with the S Club 3 and Bradley McIntosh at 90s nostalgia festivals as recently as 2021. She has a six-year-old son.
Jon Lee
Since leaving S Club 7, Lee, 40, has appeared on the West End stage, released solo music and had minor acting roles including in BBC medical drama Casualty.
In 2017 he appeared on Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief as part of Boys Allowed with Gareth Gates, Blue's Duncan James, 5ive's Ritchie Neville and Ben Ofoedu of Phats and Small.
Lee - who came out to the Gay Times in 2010 - revealed the band had to track him down to India for their latest tour after he went to find himself.
He told The Sun: “That’s why it’s taken so long to do this, they couldn’t find me.
“I was in India for three and a half years. I went travelling and then I found some dogs over there which I adopted and brought home.
“But I stayed there for a while. It’s such an incredible opportunity and when life throws something like that in front of you, you’d be mental not to take it."
Tickets for the S Club 7 Reunited 2023 tour go on sale at 10am GMT on Friday 17 February.
